Description Snapshot of Dorothy Clark Wortman (1905-1995). Dorothy worked for Singer Maufacturing and Barbizon in Paterson, NJ. During the war, both of these companies changed their manufacturing to war-related equipment. Singer made gun components and ammunition boxes. Barbizon made parachutes.
