"When I came to County College, I still didn't have a driver's license, and no car. The first couple of weeks when I didn't know anybody, I literally was hitchhiking to school from Kenvil. In fact, one day- it was embarassing- I was on the road with an attache case on Route 10, and then I heard a honking in the distance. I ran up, there were two young guys in the car and I said 'Are you going past County College?' And they said, 'You might as well get in, you're our professor.'"
