"We were coaxed by Jerry Luboff, an early English teacher, a young fellow at the time. He was an English teacher that really related to us well. He wanted to start a literary magazine. We said 'Sure! That sounds like a good idea!' That led to the photography club, that led to us meeting after school and learning how to write short poems and stories, to produce the literary magazine."
